How about a '50's car with an all aluminum twin cam?

This car is identical to how my '59 Sprint came from the factory same color, same interior. Mine is just a very very long way from looking this nice. Should anyone stumble across a nose for a '59 101 series Alfa Sprint that isnt destroyed, let me know. I really need one.

If you need a nose your best bet is to contact Santo's Italian car service. Ive worked on a lot of their cars and all they have are alfas. A warehouse of alfas.
Knowing them they wouldnt give up any of their personal stock but could probably point you in the right direction. Just know Santo can be a salty old bastard, but hes a cool dude.

I know of Santos, and no luck. Its been awhile since I asked, but Sprint noses are very hard to find. In the '80s many of the Sprints were destroyed to restore the Spiders, which at the time were far more valuable even though the bodies didn't share any pieces at all. People would strip the driveline, suspension, brakes, and few other bolt on things from the Sprints then haul the remains of to the recycler. I settled on $260 for R3v. I have a buyer right now. If they back out I'll let you know. I'm going with Rongineer's setup for the rear. It uses a bracket to adapt an E39 caliper to fit the E30 mount points so you can run an E46 325i rear rotor over an E30 M3 rear hub.sigpicComment
