I miss driving my e30's as well.. My neighbor lost my valves for my m20 and after replacing the fuel pump on my m10 today, it backfired on me and blew a hole through my intake boot.. So bummed out right now

Try a dead-blow hammer. They weigh about 5 lbs and are filled with sand. When you smack something with one, it doesn't bounce. All the force of the impact goes into what you are hitting.
