Does your e30 have a lightweight flywheel? Does it chatter at idle?

I have the UUC setup, and it does make noise, but it's because I need to take tranny off and re torque the flywheel bolts.
The UUC stuff is basically race quality. That means it has to be checked periodically to ensure proper performance. Most people dont understand this and poopoo on UUC. For me it's worth the tradeoff, as my e30 is the most rev happy car I have ever driven.IG: @Baye30

^ there are a ton of people that hate on that bc it falls apart over time. and they dont know to use loctite on everything. but also their newer stuff seems to have quality control issues. Cary, you've had that like 4 years right?
my only issue is that they require a sig for delivery and the shift lever lifts in the cup. but otherwise i love most of their stuff.

I have the 10lb JB racing flywheel and clutchmasters clutch setup that bimmerworld sells (lighter in total than UUC blue fly of death/M5 clutch kit by a couple lbs) and is dead silent and no maintenance or durability issues like the hit or miss quality the UUC stuff has. Same race grade part, one just doesnt fail half the time...and it's silent. Win.
Also S50/2 have plenty good throttle response. Eric, have you driven a properly setup US S5x car? I've driven an S54 Z3M coupe on track back to back with my car, and the throttle response of the S54 is better but not orders of magnitude better to make the US motor suck.
My S50 just needs oil and fuel and it's a rock solid track appliance. s54.....nope.
