                im doing the valve adjustment. firing order is 1 5 3 6 2 4

                question: which is #1? is it the one closest to the fan ? or closest to driver?

                    the fizzzzzan. get a bently manual or send me your email and I can send you the pdf of it. I have bently, hynes and electrical troubleshoots for 325 and M3

                      doesnt matter which one you start with. just make sure that the lobes are at the lowest point for each valve you do.

                      we put tape on the windshield and then cross off the ones that are done
                      1/A is front of engine.

                          yes. i use permatex waterpump rtv for that Tstat housing

                              Thanks Thizzelle! I do have the Bently manual but I couldnt find specifically where it labels the valves under the engine section.

                              Yeah definitely but i was just trying to do it in the firing order to reduce cranking engine.


                              EDIT: found it on page 21!
                              "The No. 1 cylinder is the one closet to the radiator end of the engine"

                                turn the engine with a 22mm wrench on the crank. not with the starter. firing order doesnt matter for this.
