      Teehee it's May 2nd.

He has however crashed it within the last 30 days. Eother way those RM's belong on Robs car. No other e30 deserves them.

It's an e30. If you slam stance and stretch it to be a "show car" then you're just another cookie cutter slanced e30-- nothing unique or remotely interesting about that. Anybody can put wide wheels, tiny tires, camber, and toss slammed coilovers on a car; it looks juvenile and incredibly stupid. No show will care about your car because it's so old, and furthermore....what are you showing? That you have so little imagination that you followed the same basic recipie as thousands of other hacks? If you're going to be a show car(which is fine, I guess) do something unique and interesting, not what any 16 year old working at McDs can do with the help of ebay and the junkyard. Most importantly, don't ruin your only car, mod it once you have something else to drive.

Yup, that's ~215whp depending on headers and midpipe.

I've never bought mods from ebay. And it's not that I don't have an imagination. That's just what I like plain and simple. I'm not slammed, and I'm sure you'll all go apeshit again when it gets bagged. It's not quite cookie cutter either when I have a shaved and tucked bay. I have a car that I drive regularly--the blue vert.

While I agree with most of what you said, I am a firm believer in people doing to their cars what they want. Steven, I hope you can someday see the beauty in building a car to be the best it can be but in the mean time, do whatever you want and make your car yours.

Nothing there is unique or even rare, save for the hypothetical bags. Tucked/shaved bay does look cool, I'll give you that, but I know quite a few people who've done that.

Do what you like and enjoy by all means, you don't have to please crotchety old farts. Just realize that if you're serious about being a 'show car' that you're going to have to do something additional to be interesting to stand out from all the other E30s modded pretty much identically. If all you want is a cruiser to take to meets and enjoy, and occasionally go to a show for shits and giggles, then go right ahead.

Agreed. I was reacting to the 'show car' bit more than the mods he's doing/done. To me that phrase means something different and with a more competitive mindset.
