if you're worried about your oil pan, this is the one you want: http://e30motorwerks.com/services/fa...y-skid-plates/
Lemme play the devil's advocate and just say that the two products are different and shouldn't really be compared. I've cracked my pan twice with a red46 plate (and from my experience it would take a LOT to damage more than the lower pan through that plate) and I still don't really fault it. But the m42 lower pan is cheap and easy to get and replace, so my situation may be a bit different.

I also paid $120 shipped for mine so I think it was well worth my money. I'd have broken my pan 20-30 times at this height without it. It's not the best plate out there but it'll allow you to be much lower than you reasonably could be without it.

                      That's just it

The products are completely different BUT the functions are the same: Absorb impact and direct it away from the pan thus saving yourself damage reparations

Because of this, they can be compared, and based on your direct account, we can see which one is better at what both pans are designed to do

I would rather pay $300 upfront and be done with it than smash a plate and be out a sum of $350 AND pulling the engine to swap a busted m20 pan.

and regarding the billionaires, yeah.. you'd see them sometimes, on segways, not really interacting with anyone

not sure what to think about them, but apparently they were pleasant enough
