when i change the rack in my blue car i may go for the e46 rack w/o PS.
      Fair enough

I didn't notice much of a difference driving on my street, and I don't care enough to really notice any bother with the radius honestly; I never paid attention to it. I do however notice LOTS of tramlining, like you said, when I come to a stop at a stoplight with heavily grooved roads, so that's a thing. It's a "performance" rack, so its gonna have its quirks, and there are going to be tradeoffs for that performance

I was also contemplating the 330i rack (3.0 LtL), but I keep asking myself if its really worth the hassle and research time tracking down the absolute correct rack for that 17mm extra travel and .3 extra LtL? For me at least, no, no its not.

i got HC and NOx mixed up in my head.
                my apologizes.
This is what you need to look at.
High HC means: Improper Ignition Timing
Below are common failures which are likely to produce high Hydrocarbon HC. Hydrocarbons are basically raw fuel, otherwise known as Gasoline. High Hydrocarbon (HC) emissions are almost always a sign of poor fuel ignition. However, it's not always that the engine's ignition system is responsible for high Hydrocarbon emissions. Read on.

                spark plugs, cap/rotor, valve adjustment.

High CO means you are running rich.
Faulty Oxygen Sensor, bad AFM, crap tune.
Below are common faults which are likely to produce high Carbon Monoxides (CO) and Rich Fuel Mixtures. Carbon Monoxide is a by-product of incomplete combustion. Carbon Monoxide exceeding maximum limits, can be due to a number of emission failures ranging from inadequate air intake to defective engine computer sensors. This condition is referred to as a Rich Fuel Conditon.

High NO (NOX) means Lean Fuel Mixture
Air leaks, clogged injectors, bad AFM, crappy tune.
Nitrogen Oxide or NO is created when an engine's combustion chamber temperature reaches over 2500F. Vehicle manufacturers have designed several systems, which when working properly, lower nitric oxide emissions. Below are common failures which may cause your car, truck, van, suv, or motorhome to produce high high nitric oxide.

If everything is high then you have a blown CAT.

You can balance out hc/ho with nox by adjusting the mixture. My last e30 was failing for high hc and I unhooked a vacuum line to lean it out and it passed.
You need a good cat to do that tho

                    Got a set of stocker tires for sale 195/60/14 F; 195/65/14 R

"Fronts" are 195/60/14 and have plenty of life; pretty much brand new. Still have that "new tire" smell, little feelers are mostly all there on the sidewalls. I'd be surprised if they had more than 1k miles on them.

Rears are 195/65/14 and beyond bald, like; slicks. Mismatched, but they are worn down so much it doesn't even matter lol
Good if you just want to mount them up and blow something

Need them all to go as a set; I think $50 local pick-up is more than fair. I pay more than that usually for just a 2 set of used tires with less than half the life left
