Only thing I've ever done live is DJ (techno in the late 90s/early 2ks, and a weird subgenre of industrial called power noise over the past few years), so it's kinda silly that I have any of this stuff taking up space.
I've thrown random stuff at the wall called Soundcloud to see if it sticks. It hasn't, really, but my influences for making music have been weird too. Indie hip-hop, experimental noise music like Whitehouse and Nurse With Wound, and sludge/doom like the Melvins. Then either find samples to use or rant about whatever's bothering me about society, politics, or the world that day.
Usually came out sounding more like Dalek, if he had a live bassist, than I'd like. His stuff is awesome, but I don't like "sounding like" anyone else (and besides, he does it better).

Yeah I've played guitar since '07, my dad was like every other dad, ACDC and Queen and Led Zeppelin and I just followed suit but made the natural progression into Pantera, Lamb of God, Machine Head and Testament, stuff like that. I got my first drum set in '12 and haven't stopped at that since, drums came more natural to me and for that reason, I play drums exclusively live and guitar at home. Me and my guitar player work on some guitar harmonies when we don't have a full band practice but yeah, metal for life \m/ Our band just recently got back together as our bassist just got back from the Berklee College of Music in Boston and our first show is December 4th. We also just recorded our demo that's being mixed right now, and got our cards/stickers/shirts in so if anyone wants some 808: Disturbing the Peace merch, let me know! Also, if there's some good metal/hard rock venues around where y'all are, let me know and we can come to you!
Shameless plug over, metalC6Z
