About to go postal on CHP/LA county

Thanks for all the tips.

I spent all morning driving around to a few different stations, the first two were LA Sheriffs and the first one told me to go to another LA Sheriff station because they do not handle fix it tickets for exhausts, and the second station told me the same thing but to go to a CHP station, great I said to myself, those assholes, time was ticking I have court at 3pm in Long Beach.

So I drove down to the Westminster CHP station off the 22 and when I stepped inside it was a lady cop, relief washes over me in an awesome wave, I've only had good experiences with female cops. As we walk outside I held the door open for her that way I'm already in good graces. I turn the car on for her and she goes that's still loud, and I told her the exhaust before was ear piercing loud and I was happy I got the ticket because it was driving myself nuts, and she goes okay but to me that's still loud, as she said that a diesel truck drove by with what I assume a stock exhaust. That completely drowned the sound out of my car, it caught both of our attention and I looked back at her and she smiled and goes alright if you get ticketed again you have to go stock, I will sign it off for you today.

I got lucky.

CHP will do inspections for free BUT they are very critical. I went to CHP on a completely unrelated matter (cop wrote me up for lack of address change! I had the proof but didn't present it until after) and I had one guy who was a straight dick, tell me I was lucky I didn't pull into the CHP parking lot or he would have wrote me up for tinted windows/no front plate, etc. Needless to say I won't be rolling up to CHP ever again. I did have good luck with Courthouse sheriffs inspection stations. At the one near me, the officer who greets you at the metal detector is the same guy who inspects your car. He comes out, looks it at...then stamps your ticket and sends you off to pay the processing fee. No threats or looking to see what else is wrong with your car.

CHP are super nazi's. I had been pulled over many years ago for street racing by Industry Sherrifs. I complied with all of the deputys demands and he was pretty cool. CHP rolled up by chance, Got out of their crusier and started to point out all mods etc....Then stated to the deputy to impound the car and state referee the vehicle. Deputy said good idea and CHP rolled out. The Deputy turns to me and says, "Fuck those arrogant cock suckers, CHP just stands for Cant Handle Policework. Fucking Pricks." Coolest Deputy ever.

Torrance (or South LA branch) off the 110freeway. You wanna hear something funny? I tried to explain to the officer that I had changed my address just didn't hand the card over to the officer since I forgot about it. This dickhead goes..."having it and not presenting it to the officer is worse than not having at all." In disbelief, I just casually walked out of there. Of course, when I went to court on it, the officer agreed to dismiss. No shit! What a waste.

Yup. I remember the street races in Sylmar/Ontario/Compton back in the day. They closed that down real quick when they started impounding and ticketing everybody for the littlest things.

You haven't met the CHP or the L.A. county Sheriff. Those dudes don't fuck around, if you think L.AP.D. puts down some beatings? you should see the others in action.

I Had a Episode with Sherrifs Last week, They were cool after they asked me a BILLION Questions, Whats great is when they spoke to my friend. They asked her if she had anything on her, she sad a Knife and a Cell phone. Cop asked her why. She said "I am Transgendered" Guy was speechless and then went to me. Didnt say anything else to her the rest of the stop. 8)
