The guy is not doing this for a living, he's doing it to help out the community and buy his kids a new toy once in a while. How about showing some class and respect? Mariano is one of the most genuine, kind hearted, REAL people on this forum and doesn't deserve ANY bashing.

I'm not trying to be rude to the guy. All I'm saying is he can get in a lot of trouble for practicing law without a license from the state Bar.

I merely stated in the beginning that there are good reasons to show up in court and that people shouldn't use the incorrect belief that cops don't get paid to do their paperwork as a basis for doing a trial by declaration.


I didn't point out he was simply reposting information from a commercial site and charging for it until after he triple posted that I needed to read and understand what he wrote in the original post.

I didn't post my qualifications until another member personally attacked me for my post.


It's interesting that a moderator would come down on me for this. If anything, the site's administration should be mindful of the consequences of hosting copyrighted information and of members plagiarizing and selling it without authorization.

He is not selling information, he's offering his help in using the information. And guess what, what Mariano is doing WORKS. He has helped me beat 2 tickets. No court time, no money out of pocket to the court system in the end.

To be clear: he copy and pasted someone else's copyrighted material, removed all mention of the source from within the body of the information, and did not cite the information. I think that is a few steps beyond simply "offering to help"

I'm not going to argue with a moderator who thinks this behavior is appropriate or that other members personally insulting me is appropriate.

I've already alerted James so he can hopefully address this before spamassassin takes action.

I use it all the time and have won 100%. cops don't want to do paper work. Also you take the month extension then do the not guilty paper work.
Also something I learned is if you write the check for fee+traffic school that is over paying and will get a notice for another month to redo and write a new check for just fee amount. so it adds even more time from ticket date. It was like 6-8 months before I had to actually pay. So the officer doesn't even remember the incident and if your letter has alot of evidence in it ETC. they don't even bother.
Also prolonging it that long something could of happened to the officer in that time which means you win again. I.E. transfered, fired, etc.

also in your declaration you can ask if convicted guilty could I please have my fine reduced, it has worked for friends, so no need to go to court ever.

If anyone on here thinks I posted that without the owners consent they are sorely mistaken. I am friends and have known Pat Mulroy for at least 10 years. In none of my tickets fighting for anyone else have I ever been asked to provide any qualifications. It's a citizens right to do this, what difference does it make if I write it or if the person them self does it? If you're not interested, don't hire me. But give me the respect not to shit in my thread.

If a mod could delete this thread for me please. In the past I've alluded to the fact that I have done this in other threads and people have come to me with no prompting from me whatsoever and I did it basically for free. No one gave 3 shits. Now I try and make some money on the side with it because it has been successful and useful but no.

Matt I am referring to this part. When he says he will fight the ticket for you then he is basically giving the assumption that he is a lawyer. If he is not registered with the State Bar and is fighting the case for you in court then you can run into some issues.

I have nothing against the guy and it's cool that he wants to help people with their traffic tickets. The only thing I'm saying is that he should read up on the state law especially if he does go into court and try to fight a ticket for someone.

Why don't you just edit your post with the appropriate cites and putting the information in the body of the text that you scrubbed?

Crediting ticketassasin.com and Mr. Mulroy for his work shouldn't even be an issue if he's your friend.

I had no bad intentions and have no problem with that. I am not representing myself as any kind of lawyer and never stated so. I don't want to lose friends over this so I'll just have the thread deleted and do it for people who come to me first instead of letting it be known that I can provide the service as I've done for so long....

And it's never been "an issue". Everything on here is a fucking tragedy. It was a simple mistake. I'm not one of those assholes who does that kind of thing. Knowing full well that I'VE ACTUALLY LINKED PEOPLE TO THAT SITE! I'm not a genius but I'm not an idiot either.
