the closest tracks are Willow Springs International Raceway in Rosamond (1hr north of LA w/o traffic) and then as far as drifting there is Adams Motorsport Park in Riverside (2 hours East of LA).

Dude, you're in Hermosa Beach and you want to go drifting or go-karting? Take a bike ride on the Strand and you'll get over that nonsense real quick....

+1 for Willow Springs. There's always traffic, so, 2 hours.
And +1 for Adams in Riverside. Every Thursday night they host their weekly drift night, all are welcome.
