yup. My sister used to have an eta and she misses it. But i think i'll let the GF drive that one the track. We did the GM Corvette experience in Vegas and she was in to it. I through out a feeler the other day and she said she would not mine tracking an e30 as soon as I teach her to drive a stick. But i'll probably toss her in the GTI as it is almost done and she has never driven a rear wheel drive car more than a few hundred feet.

The GF is coming so that throughs out any potential for speeding or overtaking. Are you gonnah come to the Mariano's BBQ Farbin? I'm trying to talk my sister in to a 318is for her daily commuter since she is currently spending $700 a month on gas so i might have a spare e30 at my disposal soon.

That's why there has been so much bickering on this thread.

Chris, E30polak, was talking about a spirited drive or a liesurely drive. The conversation got blown so much out of proportion that everyone was defending their own character.

So to clear everything up:
This is not a high speed canyon run to make a good time or something. This is going to be a nice ride to enjoy our cars and also the scenery.

So everyone bandage up the character wounds and just come along for a nice cruise and photo shoot. Not to mention, breakfast!!

i sincerely apologize for posting this thread from the get go. i take full responsibility to the beef that has happened in this thread. i understand human beings and life is great when we get along. as many may comment or criticize these words, grammar,, and or speling i chose or about to choose, i don't give three f*cks about it... nah, jk, dude, haha :D. anyhow, i did not intend to edify that canyon riding meant canyon carving aka togue, riding fast on canyons, or what-so-ever words or phrases one can describe or make a meaning out of the title i have entailed or indicated on this thread. i don't togue unless i'm at HTM (horse thief mile) in willow springs, damn, i love streets of willow too, anyways, that's another thread... the fact of the matter is, i'm 420 friendly (what's crack'eeeeeeeeeEEEEEEEEn'? ) and when i thought of the title for this thread..., i wasn't, haha; that was the first thing that came to my thoughts just like what i'm typing right now... what i shoulda woulda coulda, so this whole mess would not have had happen is wrote this as a title, "Canyon Cruising This Weekend?" which is what abigballafb76 and I did last Saturday at green valley Ojai, CA, good times good times, bro...

Shit happens, even on tracks, but if it happens on a street you are risking your life, and someone elses life. At least on a track /hpde/time trials etc you won't be blamed for shit as you happen to crash/damage your car in a safe environment etc. There are too many variables when you do something like this on a street/road, other drivers, road condition, animals, etc etc.

Sigh
