I know of a few E30 owners in the UP. The two project cars were owned by a guy who has had 4 E30's, First an IX, then the Vert I'm tearing down, then the iS I will be tearing down, and now a rough 91 2dr 325i. Two other people here at Tech have one each, a 325iS and a M3. Sadly the M3 doesn't get driven (worth too much money according to owner).

Us e30/bmw owners in mid michigan and northern michigan need to get a little more organized.

I know of several BMW enthusiasts in midland and bay city, but we never have a meet. And when there is a meet in michigan it's like a bazillion miles down south...I mean, theres some good roads to drive on up north and some sights to see as well.

We need to go about setting up a mid/northern michigan meet/drive.

Definitely, but i work second shift, often with lots of overtime on the weekends. Maybe we should try organizing a meet in michigan before that cold stuff starts falling from the sky.

Hey Michigan / UP guys... did any of you catch the Lake Superior Performance Rally in Houghton? I drove my IX up to the race, and there were a few other e30s there, even a 90' 325i in the race. Stories/Pics?
