whats with people wrecking up all the e30's? i think we need off road bumpers for stuff like this. you know the kind with tubing to protect the headlights and radiator, and maybe a cowcatcher on the front.


if the whole front end wasn't plastic and sheet metal this wouldn't happen. i hit a deer in my truck and i'm pretty sure i heard my truck laugh at it. a little fur stuck in the license plate frame but otherwise all good. the deer looked like ground beef.

dmg is contained to only hood and fender.

Headlight and headlight bracket for passenger side may need to be replace,

no structural dmg, and its a relatively light tap, no guts, and very little blood on the furrs only. The deer took off after I 'bump it'.

I cant tell until I take it apart after the insurance people take a look at it.

Man this sucks, I will have no car for a week or two? no more reiger... sadly I've finally decided that

1.) poor quality and thin plastic
2.) poor mounting, and mounting location is too thin
3.) too low and easy to hit stuff
4.) USER i.e. me, error as I will hit something indefinitely.
5.) cracked the splitter, have ot make another one anyways.
6.) can not really lower my car because its already so low to teh ground in the front.

Depending on the weather I'll probably swing out. It's about an hr drive for me
