i'll have you do my truck after a while, its not dirty yet (although i hand wash it every weekend)

detailing is to protect the paint for around 6 month with the type of wax I use. keep the contaminent out of hte paint, and protect from acid rain, sand blasting etc. You still wash it after detailing, it'll just be super easy to wash and cleans easier, and the water beads up on the paint instead ofleaving water marks. washign the car detailing are not mutuall exclusive, its for total different purpose.

yep. if the car is detailed properly, all you need is microfiber and some megueirs quick detailer and bam it looks perfect again.
