Easton PA: Help/Good mechanic needed

Want to have this done before GFest so i can make it to the show, going to Canada from July 2nd until the 9th, so anytime after the 9th i'll be ready. That provides 2 weeks, if i order from Blunt the parts usually arrive within 2 days so no worries there. All i really need now is a torque wrench.

Who's down to make this happen?

give me a holler when you get started. Only thing that I'm hesitant about is your engine hoist.

I wanted to start today, but it's supposed to rain. Most likely i'll try and start tomorrow at least stripping off the rest of the bits so all that would be left for when someone comes is just loosening the mounts and yanking the engine. I'll put some blocks of wood under the hoist and we can push the car away from it, and im buying dollies to place the engine and trans on from the hoist.

That's going to be a PITA. It's possible, but it will be much easier to fix the hoist with a new caster.

Yert i'll let you know when i start, probably tomorrow since there's no rain in the forecast. I'm also trying to get my buddy to come help, he's a motorcycle mechanic but he tinkers with cars too

yeah pushing the car back will be quite the task. Lots of maneuvering with jacks/stands and what not.

Got a caster for the engine hoist, also a torque wrench and some dollies from harbor freight. Hoping to work on this tomorrow, Yert i sent you a PM

Big big thanks to Trey for coming out today, we ended up dropping the engine from the bottom. Thanks again bud couldn't have done it without you!

Didn't get to touch anything yesterday, but today i got the timing covers, water pump, intake mani, alternator and head off.

I also stripped down what was left on the replacement block, and put on the new water pump and the engine mount arms.

Hopefully tomorrow i can get the trans and block off the sub frame, and replace the rear main seal, throw out and pilot bearings and then drop the trans and block back onto the sub frame.

Hell depending what time i finish that i may slap the head on and see what else i can get done for Wednesday. Aiming to be ready to drop the sub frame and complete engine and trans back into the car on Friday or Saturday and hopefully DRIVE it to GFest Sunday!
