So I am trying to figure out how this h2o thing works. Their site is worthless. Looks like there is a big gathering/ festival on sat, and the car "display" on sunday. But my question is... which day is the good day for us bimmer guys to show up, park our cars together, and just chill? I get the feeling we are not welcome to participate on sunday. But is sat a car meet thing?

Nice Dave! I'm taking off Friday from work and probably going down around noon. Thing is we have to leave Sunday morning because my buddy has a wedding to go to. So we'll be there Friday night and Saturday night. What day you going down?

Well I'm not exactly local to you haha. Last time I was down your way (not really your way but closer than RI) was for Waterfest last year, but I rode down with Mike Day in the e30 truck instead of bringing my own car.

I'm planning on taking Friday off and leaving in the morning, then be down there Friday Saturday Sunday and leaving sometime Sunday afternoon. Not sure what hotel I'll be at yet.

i think Sat. is the chill day, and Sun. is the car show. No matter what day you come, it will be something going on in O.C. just like this wkend. Dub car show! Cars will be every where!

Well the one thing i know about is that sat is the day the cars get judged.... I just feel like us bimmer guys wont be allowed to participate on sunday ya know.

So how about you e30 guys that have been there before... any advice?

let me break it down.

Its a vw/audi watercooled vw show ONLY. that said there is/are no bmw classes for us. But we are certainly allowed to participate and go to the show, but you wont find any classes for the show car bmws.

Its a weekend "experience". Its the best car show of the year for sure. Show up early friday- we leave pa around 9 am. You can catch some cruises down from christiana mall with the dagball rally or just roll down. There are gtgs EVERYWHERE. Each block parking lot will have something. There is normally a bmw meet at a parking lot at a predetermined time where lots show. Other than that its enjoy the beach, highway strip, cars, etc. Seacrets on Saturday night is a must as mentioned.

Saturday for the bbq is kinda eh. Its where they pick the "top dawg" show cars for the best of show competetion and they have food etc. I skip it every year- no reason to go.

Sunday go to the show and then hit JR or any other rib spot before u go home.
