Thats what I did when I bought my first stick car. I stalled it a couple times but having experience on motorcycles I got the hang of it pretty quick.

Dude, seriously don't worry about it. the first few weeks I was learning I would miss shifts and grind gears all day long. It happens. A year and a half later my clutch is still strong.

 Good job bro! As long as you don't wine it out with the clutch half in they can take a pretty good beating.

When on a hill, holding the foot brake, let the clutch out slowly until it just starts to grab, then when you take your foot off the brake rollback will be minimal then start going.

                                hils got it!
anyone have advice on how to NOT burnout? it was wet, light turned green, i spun the tires all through first, second, and into third, had the back end fishtailing like crazy!
should i have just engaged the clutch or let off gas?
