I have "Extreme performance all season" tires. I don't think they'd fair well in the dirt

Plus, I'm slightly lowered, so the plate is super needed

Depending on the course, they'd probably be just fine. We had guys on Barn Course running their Star Specs and RE11's, and several cars on performance summers. If it gets really muddy, that could suck. But most of the time it's not all that muddy - more like loose or dried clay. Any all-season should work fine.

      What tires are they?

I'll probably come out at some point, so I can see the surface for myself. They're BF Goodrich GeForce Sport Comp2s. They've been fabulous in all kinds of weather, but with the last bit of snow they slid pretty easily.

Might've also been since I drove it a few days after, when all of the stuff had time to melt and freeze.

Sport Comp2's aren't all-seasons at all....., that's why you slid in the snow. That is a summer tire, plain and simple. The compound gets rock-hard in cold weather, like most summer compounds. Even BFG labels them as summer...

Again ,would be great for Barn Course, which is like tarmac (and some of us with Rally Tires may switch back to our street tires for that course). The look of that treat it would be dreadful in the loose or wet stuff....You'd probably literally get stuck after the water truck goes through, lol..

So unless you KNOW we're running Barn that day (which we usually know the night before), those tires wouldn't be suggested, except maybe in mid-summer when everything is hardpacked.

Womp Womp. Well, that makes sense. Reinforces the fact that I need winter tires. Though, if I do use them and might get stuck, I'll just use the advice my Bostonian father gave me for driving in snow: Don't slow down.

And oh, yeah, I remember now. I was going to get the Super Sport A/S, but NTB was out of stock at the time. I guess I never bothered to actually correct my thinking.

They do have absolutely fantastic rain performance though.
