    pick and pull trip?

Anyone in the Milwaukee area down for a trip to a pick and pull?
I want to pick up some e36 window switches and either a e36 or e46 center console. And maybe some decent looking roundels.

Yeah, when are you planning on going and where is it? I dropped by ROZ Salvage yard in Franklin yesterday. No E30's :\. I need to pickup some grille clips, possibly a center console, and any goodies I can find.

I dont have an idea of when to go. I figure once someone else wants to go, or a few people, we could pick a day to go.

I am starting back at school on Monday but I will be out for spring break Apr. 2nd-10th so I will definitely be down for pick-n-pull over those dates. The opening day for the drags is the 2nd and 3rd. Hopefully my few runs down the 1320 don't cause any mishaps that force me to go the junkyard.

F*** roz auto salvage. There's a particular douche there that is just an ass to every customer that comes in.

I just picked up an '87 325i that I'm going to be pulling the trans/5spd swap stuff over the next....however long it takes me

hope the weather keeps nice. this is going to take a while.

            .

Don't hold back your feelings, let it out!

I could use some little clips and random parts. Perhaps I could get them from your parts-mobile???

....oh and do you plan on sending the slushbox to hell via some burly neutral-drops? or will you peacefully euthanize it and allow it to reach organ donor status?

I am not sure about e36's. You would have no problem getting parts for an Exploder though, I still don't understand the midwests (the majority at least) infatuation with domestic vehicles. They are getting better but still. It is tough to find foreign auto parts here. Before my distaste for Luminas, Probes, and Crown Vics pisses anyone off and initiates some sort of "BUY 'MERICAN YOU UNPATRIOTIC SUMBISH", do a little research. Toyota is more of an American car company than the big 3 are at this point. I almost died the day the owner of a Mercury Grand Marquis (designed and built in Canada) who had a "Dont put my flag on your import" bumper sticker, was offended at the fact that a drove a Nissan Altima (designed in California and built in the US). I didn't dare let him know where his car was made. Who knows WHAT would have happened.

This is on my mind only because 2 of the last 3 times I have gone to a local auto parts store the guy behind the counter has commented about "all them complex for'in cars" and why I "shoulda bought 'merican" .

wow what a tangent, sorry about that.

There are a few e36 parts cars on craigslist at the moment
I think I want to do the e36 window switches too. It looks nice.

No worries, you're welcome to come just to learn. It will be a learning process for myself too.

How much do you guys think I should expect to spend on an e46 armrest?

                              No idea......

Sag, there are some e30's and stuff around

search for things like doors. That will tell you the year and version of e30 they have and you can call and say heyyyy, so ya got some bimmers......

I don't know of any pick n pulls in the area, they all pull the parts because of some legal mumbo jumbo
