I guess there was not enough room for the radiator in the engine bay so they had to put it in the trunk which, of course, needed to be fed by the air intakes.

Munich is great, I have tons of pics from the BMW Museum, Welt and nearby Olympicstadt. I figured the pics were necessary so I dont forget everything after Oktoberfest.

BTW guys - I missed out on the Oak Park meetup, but hopefully I'll join in on the next one. I'm trying to line up my winter project work, which hopefully includes a complete teardown and respray with an s52 swap.

HELP! I need a new steering rack for my car :( Does anyone have one they dont need? Ill take either an E30 or an E36 if it doesnt need any modifications. My rack has to be rebuilt and it will cost $150. So if any of you have one for free or at a relatively cheap price that doesnt need to be rebuilt I would love to have it! Please PM me!

I've got one that came with my 91 318is (now has an E36 rack on it). You're welcome to it - not sure of the condition though. PM me and we can make arrangements for you to pick it up.

Do you have the body color trim piece that attaches to the coupe rear windows? The part that secures the glass to the car. Sorry if this is vague, I can snap a pic.

Haha sorry guys I should have been more specific. I'll make a for sale thread tonight of what I have specifically. I have a cabrio so I don't really have any coupe body parts or window trim pieces.
