If you do your own wiring...
You'll need an e34 oil pan, e28 motor mounts, etc, etc....
It can be done on the cheap!Comment

So, I had a stunning realization that I'm up to 11 e30s in 11 months.
Whoa.
I never would have guessed.

A bunch of them ran, just not drove so well.
I drove (at least in my driveway):
90 325i 2dr AWII
89 325i 2dr Zinno (front end damage)
88 325is 2dr AWII (rollover)
92 325ic M-TechII AWII (autotragic)
91 318i 4dr AWII (moved it a few feet)
The 88 325ic AWII should run and drive very well when it arrives this weekend.
That's batting over 500. At least more than half of them moved under their own power.Comment

If you're crafty.... you can do the whole swap for under or close to a grand. I have seen it done before.1991 318is - Icy, the ice racing e30

Sounds like someone is preparing for an engine swap/boost, no?
If you ever decide to sell it outright then let me know how much. I have been looking for one for a long time. I'm trying to avoid spending too much and shipping is killer so I have to buy one locally.Comment
