I gotta say - this event was fantastic. Thanks to all that put this together. It went extremely smoothly and there were TONS of e30's. Nice to meet Steve and cletonius as well as many others.
Thanks to the sponsors as well, they had some really nice prizes.

I thought the same thing, Cephas. It was nice to meet some new folks and catch up with Cletonious and Tony (CCCIIIIIIV or whatever haha).
Thanks to the latter and TrentW for helping and for all the organization. I hope you all went home as happy as I did. I did not get a chance to take pictures (too busy talking)...anyone have any they could post?
Edit: found one of me and my car!

Thanks for the nice comments guys, glad you enjoyed the event. It was my first time as VintageFest chairman and it's good to hear positive feedback. We had 85 cars registered, with 29 of those being E30's. Including the Alpine '87 Cabrio with 2,900 original miles! Perfect weather brought out 316 people total. Big thanks to Jordan and Anthony for all your help.
There will be pics posted on the Windy City club site soon.
Trent You did a great job .. Things went smooth and was well organized.
Got home last night at 11pm. No issues with any of the cars Thanks for a great event. Chicago is always one of our favorite events
Glad to hear you made it back to the Freedom Bunker with no issues Steve. Thanks for the positive comments and also for your generous donation of gift certificates. We had a total of 316 people attend the event this year--far above what I expected.
Next year I'll look forward to you bringing "Rusty" to the show. We're all getting REALLY tired of you winning with the M2. ;)
Although I missed the registration deadline, thoroughly enjoyed my first bmw event. It was great meeting Kyle (gorgeous 92 E30 vert - the reference standard!), Eric (same) and Joe (M3 with the back seat out). What incredible cars, and a great bunch of folks overall. definitely looking forward to the next one.
reelizmpro: I will always be an e30 guy.. I still do all of my own labor TrentW: There's just something so right about a well-built M20 in an E30 e30m3s54turbo: I save my money for tuner parts.
