No, but not because of the course content-- the way it's set up here is as an introduction to the machine shops, rules, and as a 'trainer' course for you to be approved to use said shops down the road.

However, most times you can TA the course as a senior and that counts too. The ME intro to engineering class was all of six weeks of participation credit, so it's hard to NOT get an A.
