In the E36 world that would be:

    clears, LTWs (the wheels), drop.

In 172 world, since it already has the Horton STOL kit, it needs fairings, powerflow exhaust, and some better colored seats. Thankfully I already have a set of seats for it.

Dude. Someone buy it. That thing is clean. A swap is so straight forward, and will cost you almost nothing.

I'm in to Metro. But I'm going to ask them to defer my admission to summer or fall, so I can see if I can get into CU first. :)

Congrats Roland, hope you are able to get into CU.

This is the M3 that I was telling Clark about, where the guy has to put bags of concrete in the trunk to get all the power down. Still pretty fast

                Against a 625hp E92 M3

                and for comparison

And the E30 M3 in detail for those who haven't seen it

As of 11:22pm, I'm done. Waiting for grades now too.

Good luck with that, our take home final for that abomination of a class took eight (?) hours to do.

you had a take home?? hah! We have to do this bad boy in class, and I have no doubt that it can take 8 hours if taken home!! Each weekly assignment took about 12-15 hrs each, and they were usually 3-5 problems, the exam will have 6-8 problems!! Of course they will be of a less time-consuming nature, because we won't have to mull over code de-bugging for hours, as it is a paper exam, but still....

What kind of schools do you all go to?!?!?!? I go to Mines and we aren't even allowed a calculator for some classes.

                              CU.

What year are you? All my math classes were closed note/book, no calculator. My engineering classes tend to be open book/note/calculator so that the tests are more testing your ability to function as an engineer rather than how good you are at simple memorization. Very few have take home tests tho, that's more a function of the specific instructor than anything.

Plus, there is no way at all to do most higher engineering classes without a calculator. Analyzing radiation heat transfer without one is impossible, unless you aren't asked to give a numeric solution. Same with finding beam deflection in bending, shear stress for weird geometries, etc etc etc.

for fluids we can't use anything but a pencil. But of course the professor just wants us to arrive at a solution in full symbolic form, and not calculate out any numbers, that way, she can easily see our work flow for each problem, and grade based on our ability to understand fluid dynamics, not our ability to plug long numbers into our calculators.

but trust me, the fact that we can use our notes, homeworks, previous exams, etc for the Computational Methods final does not in any way suggest that it will make it easier. In fact an open notes exam should make you say "uh-oh..."
