Sweet! All I really need is the coding plug, to get accurate tach. I was hoping to not have to go to the pull-n-pay...

Are those 'dry road performance' winter tires or 'you will never get stuck, ever' tires? Also, studdable?

They are not studdable. They are a full on winter tires for passenger cars. None of that "performance winter tire" crap. They drive just a little worse then all seasons on dry pavement.

I can't give away all my secrets! LOL

I have a circuit of about 6 that I hit up. The Denver upullandpay normally has some stuff, nothing great though. I occasionally head to the aurora one. 60th and federal (i forget the name) has been a gold mine for me...

I'm not sure if i have the plug, it'll require some digging. It's not in the cluster.

The coding plug lets you keep the 318is tach? Sweeet.

Excellent, I want proper winter tires. Have you gotten to try ice traction with them? That's the only reason I buy studs, so if these have good ice traction.....maybe I'll be able to hear my stereo.

Yes, the coding plug swap fixes it for the 24v swap.

The next time I do a swap it is going to take me hours, not months, and I'll gather all the parts at the beginning, this is one of those 'oh yeah, that' parts I forgot...

All I have found so far is very packed snow but not full on ice. I will let you know once I find some. So far they do a lot better then my hankooks I have on the jeep in packed snow, which is close to ice. However, the hankooks on the jeep can go though a good 6-7 inches of snow with no problem. I wouldn't recommend them for a passenger car unless you are on a super tight budget.

If you see any dent/scrape free e30 alpine white driver side fender on one of your runs, please let me know. I'd be up for joining you as well sometime if you don't mind a co-pilot.
