Eric, you wouldn't happen to have some space in your storage unit, would you?

This. Ron Paul 2012.There are no sides, just one political party with two different PR reps. They all are in it for themselves and will do whatever it takes to stay in power. This means that they don't want to make cuts which will piss off the people that elected them. This is the source of the problem and it will not change.

This attitude is so flawed because then you actually get people voting the good guys (like Jim DeMint and the Paul family) voted out.
There is no reality.
The US government really run by Russian secret agents, and all political controversies and agendas are really contrivances by the Russians to keep us in the dark, and quarreling amongst ourselves.
Russia and China are allies and will erect a new race of robots that will wipe out the human race probably sometime next year.
did you not see his post on BF.c?

I dunno. I'd rather do a full purge of the system to get out all the worthless pompous career politician windbags so that we can finally elect entirely new folks. To my mind, it's more important to eradicate the cancer plaguing the system than to keep one or two good people in office.
I've been using that theory for a long time now. If someone is running for office, and the current occupant of the office has done nothing whatsoever to benefit the country, they get axed.
Or, at the very least, have term limits for office to prevent career politicians from existing. If people knew they could only be elected for a finite amount of time, they'd worry less about the incessant political sniping and whether X vote will piss off Y butthurt group so that they will/won't get reelected and they'd worry more about how to help the country. We need statesmen, not ideologues ruled by bigotry/religion/racism/bleeding heart syndrome/etc--those are called politicians.
Cliffs: noone who seeks power should be allowed to have any.Comment

At a minimum, E30/E36 wheels seats and various small parts like rotors. I'd need to store the stuff for at least a couple years while I'm in CA. I think Clark was interested too. If that wouldn't work I completely understand.
Hell, I'd trade you my E30 wheels and parts to store the rest of the stuff.Comment

There is plenty of cancer to replace the cancer, but there is a severe shortage of good people...I dunno. Sure is working well....I've been using that theory for a long time now. If someone is running for office, and the current occupant of the office has done nothing whatsoever to benefit the country, they get axed.
Eh, yes and no.... I don't think it would necessarily work that way... the big players would just move their money to another candidate each election.Or, at the very least, have term limits for office to prevent career politicians from existing. So that means that we shouldn't vote at all?Cliffs: noone who seeks power should be allowed to have any.
Technically, Ron Paul, Rand Paul, and Jim Demint are the only people who have perfect, or near perfect voting records. To lose them would not be a good thing. If we vote them out, there will be a never ending line of lawyers to replace them...
you already replied to it...

This is all too true.
Cause 1 vote really does a lot. It's what I CAN do, so it's what I do.
Yup, and that's the real cancer in our political system: unions/corporations/interest groups/insertgroupofpissedoffpeoplehere with money who donate to political campaigns.
Never said that.
Eh, definition of perfect voting record varies person to person based on philosophy.
Yea...I found it.Comment

Ha, awesome stuff Critter.
Guys, if you know anyone with an 02+ Subaru Impreza looking for suspension, I am selling my ASTs. The issue I had with them has been FIXED, but I still need to sell these asap.Comment

dang, my brother in law just bought a set of "stance" coil overs for his bug eye! Why are you selling them?
As for the storage, You need it while your in CA? I'm not sure I'll have it for that long. Right now I have a 6 month lease, and my goal is to sell all the extra stuff so that I can fit it all in the garage of the house were moving into. To be honest though, I really really like the unit, it has tons of space!Comment

I'm selling them because I had a priorities-rethink and decided that modding the Subaru isn't the best use of my time and energy right now.
Yea, I'm hoping not to but for some stuff (seats) it is unavoidable. As soon as I head out I loose the storage space I've had at parents' home.As for the storage, You need it while your in CA? I had to come to the same conclusion with my 3.8L M5. It sucks when you have to make that decision.
So I did it, then bought an E28 M5... WTF?Comment
