    I support this plan.

Although, the S50 really only makes about 10 hp less once you've got the bolt-ons.

one day I will have an S50 or OBD-I S52 in my E30. And then it will finally be fast.

Yeah, turboz for stupid fast. S50 for pretty much any new car speed.

Anyone know what the average price would be to turbo an m20? Nothing too crazy.

$3000~$3500 minimum to do it right.

More then that. To do it right you would rebuild the internals then turbo it.

Yea, but there's the problem. S50 with all bolt-ons is less power than just an obd1 s52 swap OR an OBD2 S52 with a CAI and catback and m50 manifold. All those setups are 230-240whp, S50s being on the low end.

Your S52 is making cammed S50 power, it's not fair :hitler:

David and I have been talking this over extensively and have come to the conclusion that the S52 block is pretty much superior to the s50 in all aspects other than being able to rev higher which isn't that much of an advantage because the S5x head is the true limiting factor in terms of airflow above 7500 anyway.

You guys haven't even driven my car since the M50 manifold. I can't begin to tell you how much better it is. Once you're past 4500rpm it just doesn't ever stop pulling.

The stupid rev limiter keeps getting in the way of me blowing the thing up... Can't WAIT to get a lighter flywheel in there.

I couldn't really get much of an impression when driving it the short drive to Autosport Werks. The alignment wasn't as bad as the last time I did tie rods, but it was def off center.

Roland that is fucking tight! I had a love session with my S54 tonight. So nice.... Karting regularly has given me a surprising improvement in car control. The rain just added to the fun.

Saw this today, sounds like an E46 rack in an airbag car is pretty straightforward?

I thought we did drive it post-m50 mani, or maybe that was just AA headers/exhaust.
