      Well, it's worked. Dude's 90 and still flying/building planes/driving sports cars.

      Keeps you young man.

I have about 50 hours or so of PIC time from the back seat of tandem aircraft with someone in front. I think it is nice, because I can keep track of the passenger and pick up on their body language pretty quick. Harder to do that when they are sitting behind you. Also, when they puke three weeks worth of food up and are too manly to get a bag out in time, sitting behind them places you out of the trajectory of doom!

With all these pilot-oriented discussions going on, how many of us actually are pilots?

Family are pilots, but I'm not there yet. After school is done I'm planning on getting my license. I've flown a little bit when already in the air and got hooked.

I spend a fair bit of time in high speed aluminum tubing, but flying / racing hang gliders is my favorite type of flying. Gonna go get checked out in a 172 tomorrow. It's gonna look like the drunken pilot act at the air show!

The Toyobaru lost its hot wheels fast and furious wing. Under 2,700 pounds. Consider me very interested in the Toyota version.

                    I like it. A lot.

I'd buy the Subaru since they actually did all the engineering and r&d work on the car, not just the design and marketing.

Think it'll sway you from the Abarth?

Wasn't the wheels and wing version the STI variant.

Depends on when they can come out with it.

Could have been, I just saw the wing and got turned off from reading anything.

Because Subaru did most of the engineering, I'm much less interested. Too bad, Toyota had a chance to make something cool.

Although, really, my interest faded when I heard it was going to have an NA Subaru motor in it. All the lag, none of the power... Bleh.

Yea, I'm holding out hope that they'll bring out a turbo or H6 version sooner than later. 200hp is nice, especially with 2700lbs, but still.....need more.

I'm sure subaru would be glad to throw a turbo and a STI badge on it for an extra 10k.
