The reference to Mordor is a joke, but I don't think those other pictures are photoshop besides the silly instagram edits. On the 26th, there were 60+ mile and hour winds that fueled the fire in amazing ways. It broke through two fire breaks and crested over the canyon allowing it to just gobble up land heading down the hill.

Look at how quickly the fire gained acerage on the 26th!

Dont be stupid. These photos were taken sometime between 6-9 pm when the fire flared up. To put it into perspective the fire took 2 days to grow to 5000 acres and within 24 hours hit 15000 acres due to high and shifting winds. These winds brought the fire across two fire containment lines into the neighborhoods the pictures show. After that winds blew smoke and burning embers onto houses.

The pictures look 'photoshopped' because the orange glow in the background is whats left of the sun going down. You can clearly see flames as dark orange and the sky is more of a light orange glow.



This is a picture from near e-470 and parker road, about 70 miles away.

IT was no joke, I watched from my schools campus as these houses burned with binoculars about 3 miles away.
