    Deposit paid on the M3 today

                Eric, you haven't had the M3 that long have you?

                Made some progress on the track car. Gloss black 17x9" Apex Arc-8, APR front splitter, raised the rear wing 3".

                I'd be curious to hear opinions on the front splitter. I either need to move the anchors up to the main bumper cover part so I can tie into metal or reinforce the lower section from behind. I'm not sure it will handle 100lbs of downforce.

                    Bought it a bit over a year ago... Immediately before we decided it would be best fir Sarah to go back to school.

                        It's a honey comb layers of carbon fiber. Def not willing to stand on it. Right now it's attached to the bottom of the front bumper cover. There is nothing solid down there to tie into but the plastic itself. I'm either going to fab a cross member or move the anchors higher or both.

                            My car has little rods welded to the frame rails and radiator support that hold the splitter in a more solid way than just the bumper.
