So what started out as my pedal breaking off the floor mount

turned into pulling up the carpet and finding the drain holes rusted through which then turned into this

did some of my first welding, looks okay, good thing no one will see it;D

dailying an old car through Colorado winter isnt the best idea:loco:

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.Comment

Your feed rate was to high. Not much penetration when it globs up on top like that

Locally believe it or not. Just down the street. I missed the one that Ben in Boulder was selling a few months ago.
I have *some* already, but you've got a PM headed your way.
Kinda sorta. Replacing the M5 and the T5 as a daily I think. I'll still use the T5 as a parts grabber maybe though. Going to be a sick ski car too.
Yep, it may not hold for long.
Definitely grind down the beads and see where you're at. If there's enough penetration, hit it with some epoxy primer and then paint it. If not, redo it now and save yourself the headache later.

I'm not sure if this is possible but can someone go to sputnik and next day mail me some food? Or from voodoo? I miss Denver every day.Comment
