Seriously, I was thinking something like that. Splitz show, then go inside and get a couple lanes and a couple pitchers... Totally down for that.

As for timing belt party.... as long as there's someone experienced around, I totally would agree to attend... My car needs one, bad.

PM me for detailing services in the Longmont / Boulder Area in Colorado!

sounds cool to me! Like I said, I've done t-belts before, just on etas not on the b25, but i'm pretty sure we could struggle through without too much issue. plus I know stoliver ended up actually giving in and buying the bmw special wrench tool for the fan clutch.

      ps-

iamcreepingdeath started a thread about my Death Machine under "members rides". Feel free to post offended/defensive/whatever comments. Liken it to a pair of sweaty gym shorts or the whatever suits your deranged mind.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

yeah, it was pretty good! definitely a little more informal than the euro GTG, but a little less eye-candy (ie no turbos as big as my head).
                  I liked it.

also, we should probably do t-belts before pitchers of beer to make sure everyone's car still works, AND then we'll celebrate with a couple of lanes.

not sure if its slower or faster than my M42, part of me thinks my M42 would take it in a drag race, it was kind of shaky, but the handling was pretty tight for factory suspension. with a full bushing replacement, coil overs and some bigger/wider wheels, that car would be great on the track. I did like how i sat in it however. the steering wheel isn't adjustable, and pretty much sits way low so the wheel almost touches your legs, and the shifter is really short and the console is high up, so you are almost shifting at chest level, and seeing over the hood is a bit more difficult than in the E30.

because you, Bishop and Bimmerman325i (and me) basically live in this forum!

also, i had thought everyone was privy to the "slam it" conversation, but I guess that was just me, you and hypere30. oh well

in any case, the point remains: VALENCE NOT FOR SALE MUA HAHAHAHA
                            also.....anyone have a cutting wheel I could borrow?!?!?!?1??!questionmark!

How long do you think it would take us to do a car?

And how many people needs belts done besides me and David? I'd have no problem meeting that morning, doing T belts till the meet, showing up tired and greasy, telling rich people to fuck off, then going bowling / drinking.
