Yeti builds good bikes, I worked at a Yeti dealer for about 5 1/2 years. There's some solid R&D behind their frames, and the guys are super nice and love to ride their bikes. A bit pricey, but they are a CO company so it's definitely worth it IMO.
I'm planning on recording the race, skipping the hike and riding WP both days... Hopefully the driving wont suck too bad. PM me your # and I can text you if I come up, maybe we can get a few runs in
PM me for detailing services in the Longmont / Boulder Area in Colorado!

5.10s are awesome -- I've been running them for the past 4 years for DH racing. The first gen impacts were (err, still are) the greatest shoes I've ever owned. They've lasted through two seasons of riding/racing, then another year and a half of being ridden to school daily. Now they're my shop shoes. Simply unbeatable, though they are finally starting to tear themselves apart. Unfortunately I don't think the V2s are as robust, but they're still excellent shoes.
Edit: as for pedals, check out Deity or Straitline (what I'm running now. A bit on the expensive side, but they've survived my extra-low BB height/being smashed into rocks regularly. Also the guys running the business are super cool). Stay away from the Crank Bros. 5050 pedal though. They look sweet, but have awful grip.
On a side note, I'll hopefully be riding every weekend, weather permitting. If some of you guys want to come ride Hall or something, let me know.
So here's a stupid question, but I have to learn...
The base of my rear presta on my GF (Tubeless) started leaking and now it's just flat. Can I just pull off the tire and throw a tube in there until I get another tubless setup? Any tricks or is it just like changing a tube?
you should go wellgo b131, I have always been appauled by the affordable price, lightweight, and durability. I have always gone wellgo and keep going back. great pedals.
