Yellow high beams?

But in the summer at 4-6 it is daylight and you gain no visibility by using headlights, only the added safety. Driving at night, in the rain, is pretty rare. Not to mention how rare it is to use high beams in a city.
So yeah, just get yellow highs or lamin-x them if you like the look. I just wouldn't do it to your lows. Lamin-X is nice stuff. I use the clear on all my lights. Although it seems like they are getting yellowed a bit, maybe they just need a good cleaning.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.Comment

I believe I read somewhere once that the human eye sees the wavelength of yellow/orange/reddish light better than bright white/blue etc. I've always wondered why there aren't the equivalent of HID's in yellow? Perhaps the high intensity part.Comment

I'm not sure why the yellow high beam is popular with the E30 guys, I think it looks like doo-doo.
This is coming from a guy with OEM french lights all across, so I might be a bit biased.Comment
