Some of you guys are really dumb for being so smart lol... I kid I kid (obligatory PC remark so panties won't get bunched, fuck yeah America...) I ran through my star specs faster than I cared to think about. My crappy all seasons with high tread wear are comfy and still look brand new. He's gonna have 3 sets of wheels and tires, so why have 2 sets of race / performance tires. Some nice comfy
Tires will still grip just fine for cruises and not wear out in a season

PM me for detailing services in the Longmont / Boulder Area in Colorado!

Changing tires is annoying to deal with sometimes.

But yea, there's a reason I DD around on old snow tires. I'm not missing the grip and I like not burning through tires.

It's not annoying lol, it takes 15 minutes if you're taking your time and you do it 1) when it snows, 2) when the snow melts, 3) before and after racing. Lol

I challenge you to do it in 15 minutes. I will sit by and time you from the time it rolls into the garage and out again, using jackstands and a floor jack.

If you win, we're even on the six pack you still owe me from Nebraska bet. If I win, herro beer.

Yep, which is why I stand by the BFG G-force sports for summer DD. 340 treadwear, cheap and good.

Nope, setup time (incl equip) is included in tire-change job.

I don't use jack-stands when swapping tires.... Almost nobody does lol.

Don't care about stands, meant setup as in get tools and jack and tires and shit in place and ready.

Why would getting stuff out be included in changing time lol... Still would probably beat it... It's not hard lol

And if I don't beat it, then 20 minutes to change stuff. Now tell me what you'd do with that 20 minutes a few times a year

Cause that's involved with getting the job done, is it not? Setting stuff up, doing job, putting stuff away, done. That's the time frame. 15 min seems awfully optimistic.

Oh, and I no haz impacts or air tools. Problem?? :D

I still wanna know what else would be happening in place of the 15-25 minutes in someone's life. I'm willing to bet it would be sitting in front of a computer, TV screen, or wandering around aimlessly
