    New stuff

My car made a bit of a transformation. For the better I think. Here is a crappy cell phone pic cause I'm too impatient to wait for good ones. Eventually Ill post back with decent quality pics. H&R Sports, BBS RC's. Much thanks goes to Sam for selling me the wheels at an awesome price and also for helping me install the springs. And thanks also to Twigg for the springs.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

Thanks all. Im damn excited. I have that pic on my phone and I look at it all day lol. There is a clanking noise that is coming from the left front now and I have checked it out but couldnt really notice anything out of the ordinary. I took the front spring pads out so maybe its the spring banging around? Any opinions?

I would take the wheel off and check to see if we remembered to tighten all the bolts, and also I would check the spring hat/bearing nut. Just pop the hood and pop off the dust cap, and then bounce the car up and down, see if you see movement. I had that happen to me once, and I tightened the nut, and the clunk was gone.

It is unlikely that it is because of the lack of spring pads. Since the shock itself restricts the full extension of the springs, there is no way the springs are losing contact against the spring seats at any time.

I thought that M20s didn't require oil changes because they leaked so much of it that it flushes itself. lol

If you know the pan is stripped, let it drain overnight, and JB Weld the plug back in. It will buy you one more oil change worth of miles while you get parts together.

Not that I've ever had to deal with this sort of thing. At the last minute. :)
