Make sure to check your motor/trans mounts, those going bad would destroy your csb but I don't know how you managed to make it go mia.

Thanks for the congrats. Also, like usual, I am busy during the week with work, so I will start taking things apart to see the extent of the damage and let you all know if I need some other things like drive shaft so I can just get one locally.

Some codrivers, not 9 cars. I think there were 7. 2 did not show that were signed up. Not gunna lie, it is the most that I have even seen at one of our local races. Usually there is about 4-5 cars.

Don't trust a cheap CSB and that drive home might have done in your Guibo. I went through a couple Guibo's and CSB's in my car (launching at the strip). Paid for the good ones this time, all is well.

The cheap Guibo felt, well, cheap - even out of the box, I could fold it in half over the edge of my desk - same with the CSB, one felt like the rubber could be ripped out by hand :( Neither of them lasted, and since you track your car, better be safe than having to do this again...

^ yeah i had the same problem. I replaced my CSB and it started banging around on the drive home from the shop. spend the extra waffleswaffleswaffles for a quality one.

So, new guibo and driveshaft center support bearing from turner motorsport? Good quality or not? Bavauto has them for a bit less.

Also, when I take the driveshaft off, am I even going to be able to see if it damaged, or is that something that can only be done my machining tools?

I can have a Lemforder guibo and CSB in my hands at 8am tomorrow morning. They are each about $60, no shipping. Tax at SCR is 3.9%.

For replacement parts like this, we can usually be pretty competitive on pricing and can almost always get them same-day or next-day.

I know nothing about their quality, but I'd assume if they are good enough for you guys, they are good enough for me. Go for it. I work from 8-8 for the rest of the week, so I will have my girlfriend run over and pick them up.

They are OEM - and typically what you'd get if you went to the dealer.

Ordered. I won't be there tomorrow, but I will be Thursday and Friday. The parts will be there anytime after 8am.

For sure. Febi at the least. Lemforder is better.
