I know this is a long shot but I saw that you said you meant be interested in selling the swap for the right price. I would really like to swap mine and this would make things smoother besides not running right. I am currently deployed but will be home in may on leave. If you still have it then I would be ready to get it then. I'll keep checking in on it I don't see any other way of getting it before leave. Since I don't have anybody that would be able to pull and pick up for me. Good Luck with the sale.

Hey Twigg, yeah I honestly don't think it will take much to get it running right, I'm seriously (as Sam will attest to) OVER working on the car.

Some of the new things on the car that i've done to troubleshoot its problems:

o2 sensor, speed sensor, throttle position sensor and ICV. The injectors are the 21.5lb pink tops and they've been tested for proper flow. I've got great fuel pressure to the rail.

Also I checked, rechecked and checked again the wiring harness adapter, and it is 100% verified and correct. I've made other wiring adapters that are in good running swaps, so I'm confident that's not the problem.

The Crank, cam, and knock sensors were brand new when I did the swap and OBD1 conversion, this doesn't mean a bad voltage regulator in the alternator didn't kill one of them.

There are few things left to check. I'm talking myself into spending some time on it... :)

After the voltage reg what has it been doing? Sounds like you have been doing alot of maintence and the swap was quality work which is good. It will end up being something you wouldn't have thought it would be. Also I bought my springs off of Sam and sold him a diff. Well if you don't feel like fixing it and when I get home I'll have cash money. Trying to talk you out of it and selling to me haha.

So I had a friend tweet my facespace saying that he is willing to help go get it. Also he is going to try to find someone else to help out that has a truck. Also I may end up just getting the whole car as my buddy wants the shell. Well I'll keep you informed on if he can get anybody to help out. Thanks again

2500 is a steal. I've had several people contact me already. Make it 3000 and I'll throw in all my awesome e30 parts. That's easily 6k worth of stuff for 3k. :)

Have your buddy show up with cash and we can talk about it in person...

Ross, slap this in the gen FS section, it will be gone in no time. That's how I sold my last 318is, a dude from Illinois flew out and drove it away.

Hey I wasn't trying to low ball or anything I know the value I was just trying to cover the cost of my buddy helping and another providing storage for me. I already had a talk with my wife and I'm down for the car but do you have a pic of all said items? I really need the metal valence for mine dash and lights also Just need a General picture if you could. It is 2pm here right now and 3am in CO. If you pm me your number and a time that is good to call I can call and talk. Only thing is I have some Stuff going on here and it might be a alittle while before I can get back on here or a phone. But if you want to make a easier sale just let me know and I'll have to find something when I finally leave this damn place. I just could use alot of this and it would be so much easier having a already swapped car to swap mine. Well pm if your still interested thanks again

Well I think I fixed the problem, after the epic rally day, of course...

I have to test it tomorrow and then I'll decide if I'm still interested in selling. It *looks* like the fuel pump relay crapped out. Different relay in the spot? Yeah it revved perfectly to the beautiful 7200 red line like a BAWS! Too late to go for a test drive now...

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.
