    Drive 4 Corners BMW Meet - August 1-4, 2014

Drive 4 Corners has announced our dates and opened registration for the meet in 2014!
Last year we had over 60 BMW's parked at the top of Wolf Creek Pass and the Continental Divide for a unique photo opportunity.

We are in the planning stages of the 2014 meet, but have firmed up all of the details regarding date, time, location, and a majority of activities throughout the weekend. We are working on getting discounted rates at the Family of Choice Hotels to all those traveling long distances. Send and email to info@drive4corners.com for this discount promotion.

What: The focus of the meet is having a relaxed weekend with fellow BMW enthusiasts at a getaway location with scenic views and friendly BMW banter. More Information available HERE.

    When: August 1-4th, 2014

    Where: Pagosa Springs, Colorado

It really is a great scenic area, and worth the trip alone for the views along the Continental Divide.

We had participants come from Texas, California, Nevada, Arizona, South Dakota, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Maryland in 2013.

A main focus for the event is the driving aspect that is only really found in impromptu enthusiast meets and organized BMW CCA drives. We wanted to change that by driving to a picturesque location and meeting up with fellow enthusiasts at the destination to talk BMW's.

Another important aspect is the accommodations for friends and family that allow you to choose what you want to do over the weekend. This could be a trip to the hot springs, the local outfitter, Continental Divide, or even Treasure Falls.

This will be the first weekend in August and we need a few people to help lead a caravan from New Mexico, Texas, and another caravan from Utah. The caravan out to the event with 10 fellow BMW drivers was great fun and we would like to provide that from other states away.

We also need some sponsors who would be interested in attending the event BBQ on saturday with a booth, and giving our participants some extra goodies.

If you'd like to learn more about the event, check out the event in review post on the site http://drive4corners.com/index.php/2...ent-in-review/ and please PM me or email me at Tom@drive4corners.com

I will post more detailed information such as schedule, event feature car, and caravan information when it is ready to be distributed.

Thanks guys, we need more than 4 mye28's out there come August!

Last year we had only ~3 E30's, this year it is looking better with E30's being the most that have registered so far. :hitler:

I did this once, and it was a great way for me to end the summer!

I'm planning to attend and will be rolling 4 bimmers deep with about 7 people. Looking forward to a Denver meet up/caravan!

            Awesome Jonathon!!

We may have enough participants that we even need to do 2 Denver caravans! Glad you will be able to make it. What do you think your friends will be driving?

I will almost definitely be going in my 2001 M5. From Denver as well. I may be one of the 4/7 JD mentioned.

Confirming that I am registered and hotel booked. :)

When are the caravans to and from the event? Thursday and Tuesday, respectively?

We currently have the hotel from Thursday night through Monday night (Tuesday AM checkout).

                  Sweet :)

The first Denver caravan will likely be on Friday, I am not sure yet about the second.

The good news with the hotel is that they are flexible with us and fully expecting to reserve the entire place for us in August. The will allow booking changes up until 48 hours prior.

I will likely be doing a similar timeline. It's nice to relax a bit and not have to rush home right away!

Ok cool. We will plan to caravan from Denver to Pegosa on Friday and adjust the hotel reservations accordingly.

Sounds like it really isn't an organized caravan back to Denver, so maybe we'll plan to leave Monday morning.

                    Thanks!

I tried to reply to a post on the 4 corners website, to no avail. I was volunteering my services to help organize the Denver caravan, if help was needed in that area. Let me know.

Id like to leave Denver on Friday in time to make it to Pagosa Springs by sun down. Sunset is 8:15pm. Call it about 5 hours depending on route and stops. A 3 pm depart from Denver would be pretty ideal in my opinion.

There may be two caravans, but last year, the single caravan left Park Maadows around 10:00am. Made it to Pagosa about 4:00 with a few stops to meet up with people and eat a snack.

Even better. Just don't want to miss the beautiful drive in, in the dark. :D

Better in the dark than in the rain. Or getting separated from the caravan and then beating them into town by 45 minutes.
