NE BMW enthusiasts meet, RI edition. July 12

    Who: all BMW's invited!

What: RI edition of the New England BMW meet.

Where: Colt State Park (CSP), Bristol RI (Route 114, Bristol, Rhode Island 02809)

    When: July 12, 12:00pm

This is the official RI edition of the successful New England BMW meets. Come enjoy the day with other enthusiasts like yourself in beautiful Bristol RI. This is a very laid back show, so bring your frisbees/footballs and stuff to barbecue. There will be a scenic cruise through all of Aquidneck Island down to Brenton Point State Park afterwards, where we will have time for one last photo opportunity before we all part ways.

Meeting location at CSP is right at the red arrow

I will have a google map of the cruise route up soon, but for those of you that want to check it out yourself beforehand will will be heading south along 138 through Portsmouth, along the waterfront in downtown Newport and down Ocean rd past all the mansions.

Simply put: My 16 year old sister is going to Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston for a bone marrow transplant and my dad, who has a ton of seniority at his workplace, can take the necessary 8 weeks off of work to be with my sister. For that time, I am the man of the house and need to stay around home at all times in case shit happens.

Ah, completely understandable. Good luck to your sister and good luck to you being the man of the house with those limp little wrists of yours lol.

We'll be sure to take plenty of pics for you.

Limp wrists!? Ouch man, ouch lol. I do hope Ricky still has that sport steering wheel for me, considering I paid for it but haven't been able to get out there yet. :/ Have tons of fun man, it seems like it would be a blast!

Jeez man. that's rough. I'm a registered bone marrow donor because that simple out patient procedure can save people's lives, and you get a free supply of vicodin for 10 days

I'd like to attend, but not sure my car is worthy of a trip that long! It still needs some work at this point. We'll see, but don't count on it. :(

Don't worry about it dude, I drove 200 miles to the last one in NY and my car is a piece of shit.

                          Is that vaporblades car?

Yea, it's vaporblades old car. I'm sure it will be fine making the trip. It's a frickin' smooth machine for 20 years old! I'm slowly going through it as I can find the time (and $$). There are things that need attention. Nothing too major so far. It' an unfinished project that I have barely begun. I want to get it all set mechanically and into some paint and wheels before I go all over N.E.
I do want to check out a meet because I'm sure I can learn a lot. If not this meet, another time for sure.

Yeah, it looked like a very nice car from what I saw of it on here. Good luck with it and I hope you'll be able to make it down.
