First and foremost, Desaevious good luck and best wishes to your sister and her procedure.

my door lock situation is half cured. At the time, the driver door wouldn't lock (reg or deadbolt) with the key and could only be locked from inside the car with the door shut. Secondly the passenger door was locked and could NOT be unlocked from inside or outside, manually or key. I ripped the driver door panel off last night in the shop and cleaned the terminals to the little black box next to the lock cylinder... i think that small spring is fucked up cause it's not pulling the lock lever down to deadbolt.

I pulled the passenger door panel off with the door shut (bit of a bitch but I got it out), and found the electrical lock thing with the lock rod attached to the top of it is seized and won't "unlock" so I took that lock rod off and now the door works 100% mechanically.

I now have to turn the car off, exit out my door, walk to passenger side, reach over, lock the driver door, shut the pass. door and lock that with the key. I don't care though, I'm just glad to be able to have the car all locked up again after two weeks with it unlocked everywhere

Thanks man, and it's Andrew. I'm sure I'll meet you at some meet in the near future considering I met a couple of the RI guys already.

No longer stock ride height, rolling as low as a daily driver in New England should without worrying about breaking an oil pan.

Andrew, I'm sure you will. I met Byron and Pat already, I'm hoping to get to more of the meets in the not too distant future.. anyone going to the Air Show this weekend? I saw the planes all doing test flights today in the distance over work. A B-1 (one of the nastiest planes ever - After the A-10 of course) flew right over my building. It was badass

Anyone want to meet up a little before hand and caravan down there? We got a dedicated cruise photog?

So what's the verdict? Anyone want to meet up shortly before hand and all ride down together?

Where are you leaving from? If you're heading out from southern RI I'm always up for a cruise, if not I'm sure there's some other people up north that will cruise with you.

I'll be leaving @ 10ish from the New Haven area. If there are clear skies, the E30 will come out to play. If not, the E34 will make do.

Anyone who wants to caravan can shoot me a PM for phone #.

                          Ben

edit- I'm already on the list just to clarify (beast419 from bfc).
