I'm looking for a shop to handle an S50 engine swap on my '84 325. I'm new to PNW so I'm not familiar with all the shops in the region. I and the E30 live in Portland but I don't mind taking it somewhere else to get it done. The donor engine/trans/diff have already been rebuilt, so it's a matter of installation now.
I called the usually-cited ones in Portland (Pacific Motorsport, Boyd's) but they aren't interested in doing it (I'm guessing repair work is more profitable than engine swaps like this).
Who's got recommendations for a good shop that can handle this?
