hit some ice going down the hill by my house while trying to make a turn and the rest is history. Some reason my power steering isnt' working either, but the hole looks like it can be repaired temporarly with some jb weld

I'm hoping not too bad cause i was able to drive home but when i check, oil was coming out pretty good. I think i can screw a bolt in there and jb weld around to seal it for now, when when spring comes, pull out the engine and replace the pan. as for the power steering, i dunno what's going on it was too dark to inspect everything. the curb was just low enought o miss the lip but high enough to put a hole in it:(Comment

my street isn't heavily traveled so ice would form easier than a road that has been driven on all day, ie: freeway, main roads. Plus i left work around 10pm and it was freezing out in gresham.
haha for serious though, i wasn't fucking around this time. I'm going to patch that shit up and drive it until spring, hole looks patchable, i've already bought a pan from Greg. there goes the Xmas fund....... The most fucked up part is my snow tires were in the trunk!!!!!!!!Comment

thats what you get for rolling around with race slicks on fool. Are you still giving me your snow tires and rack so we can take my e30 boarding?Last edited by GoldenDAlpineR; 12-13-2009, 12:34 PM.Comment
