What are you doing today? Don't let Farbin lie to you. East Idaho is boring as hell. Boise really is where it's at. North Idaho is very beautiful but there are some big mountains between here and there. I think Audiwark can test to that as he goes to U of I.no problem! drove by again and it was parked in the driveway. was going to stop by with some brew. haha just kidding. yeah i figured that out and i love it so far. this fresh snow was a nice touch too, came here hoping to have some snow instead of the warm weather we've been having in california.
I'm trying to think of points of interest. The outdoors are the biggest draw around here.
Have you figured out where you're going from here?

If you go north take hwy 55. Go through McCall, very beautiful. Lewiston is a dump hole. Pit stop in Moscow fun college town. (I partied too much there while in school). Stop at Couer D'Alene cassino to do some reservation gambling. Head up to Couer D'Alene, the lake there is awesome. A few cool bars there downtown. Skip South East ID it is lame. I grew up there.Comment

If you head my way, which it sounds like, drop me a line, I'm down to chat in person.
EI is not as bad as they are making it out though, if you are trying to fully escape the city lifestyle like I did, it's perfect, all these people think Boise is the "big city" anyway, so they really don't know what they are talking about.Comment

Travis, Farbin is the shit and you should totally hang out with him. Do it so I can live vicariously through you, I miss that giant fuck.

New local guy introducing myself. I've just added a new ride to my collection (79 733i)and could use some guidance.. My first car while living in Germany (1982-1986) was a 69 2002Ti that gave me the bug. My collection now includes a restored 74 2002Tii, a project 73 2002 roundie, a 74 2002 parts car, a 90 325ic, and now this e23 sled. The Tii, and E30 aren't getting driven much with the weather lately, so I'm learning this old E23. Always enjoy a cold beer and good company talking cars.. Prost!Comment

haha, i actually quite liked it there, or at least the few points of interest. wouldn't live there though.
sorry, ended up not checking into the forums for the rest of my visit. i ended up heading up to sun valley and a few other places before heading back down through nevada. however, i'm okay with boise and the surrounding areas. however, i never made it up to moscow like i had hoped which i would have liked to have seen.If you head my way, which it sounds like, drop me a line, I'm down to chat in person.
