Picked up a 94 325i as a project. The previous mechanic didn't properly torque the exhaust cam sprocket bolts, they backed out and grenaded the head.

The timing chain is ok, my guess is the motor fell out of time and instantly quit/seized. The tops of the pistons area little dinged up.

My worn out dampers took a shit today. After Cascade Cars and Coffee I felt the car start floating like crazy when driving and the rear left lower shock mount finally broke off and the shock is hanging and it's spring only back there. Time to order either Pedders coilovers or Bilstein/H&R combo, as well as control arms.

I didn't look at it for too long - but the price isn't THAT far out of line. It's a super clean late model with proper euro bumpers. I don't like the choice in engine but it seems well sorted mechanically.

You can find a lot better 2002s for 18k. Its not even a roundie, And has a list of a lot of cheap or easy mods cluttered around the good parts.
Maybe 12k but that's if the paint and interior are absolutely mint.

I've seen much better for allot cheaper is my qualm.

Those are indeed euro bumpers. Check out the license plate lights on the rear.

Look up the price of the rear bumper overriders then tell me he has done cheap mods. Also check prices on the italian turn signals - if you can even find them. That's not a thrown together 2002. He has done some classy and expensive stuff to it.
