Never been a vw fan, but now I own one.. err, I mean an Audi (same difference).

Actually, VW's parent company basically has the hottest cars on the market: Lambo, Bugatti, Audi..etc. I would have to say, they know their sh*t when it comes to bringin' the hotness.

Absolutely not. The W8 in the Passat was a test bed that failed miserably. 30V V6 is rock solid.
