splendid. I fucked up. so e36 m42s use a super similar, interchangeable for the most part, throttle body as the e30. the differences are small but the biggest one is that the e36 throttle shaft is keyed 180 degrees out from the e30 - so the TPS points directly at the intake manifold (not gonna work).

I had two good working throttle sensors and busted them both trying to spin them around to face the right way... kind of dumb of me but its whatever. Im getting another one at work tomorrow easy enough

my solution was i took an angle grinder and ground a flat spot on the other side of the shaft, making two flat areas allowing for the TPS to be installed e30 or e36 style. benchtest worked great, now I just need a TPS sensor and I can fire her up! the BAVREST ground cables are really nice, I am hoping they do the trick. my engine to chassis ground was old but not bad, the alternator ground was atrocious looking.

Also installed all new coolant hoses today... just wishing I could find my brass bleeder screw. Argh! Happy Sunday.

a phone, a gps, anything really. your standard wall charger is 1 amp if I am not mistaken. the standard USB port on a computer is about a half amp, so
