Found a beauty of a 325i down near "La Center" Washington. Everybody knows Im not familiar with the problems of E30s... so I need somebody to check it out with me.

When are you looking at going? I'd be happy to take a look with ya. It's like buying a car with someone else's money... ;)
    Need a part? PM me.

How clean of a car are you looking for? I have an '87 325es 5 spd. for $800. Interior is stripped other than dash and front seats. Runs good! Definitely a beater

The guy says it overheats. I suspect the thermostat is shot.

Anybody have the part for me? Even used, just something to limp it the 150 miles home. CKtaft you gots whats I needs?

Im doing full tuneup back home

                    All belts
                    Timing Belt
The Pelican tuneup kit... but from Blunt - http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/...E%3C%2Ffont%3E

And also guibo if it needs it. So like $250 of maintenance when it gets home

I certainly wouldn't just assume that it is the thermostat. You will be SOL when you go down there and find out that is not the issue. If you really want it, you need to borrow/rent/steal a trailer...

                        Well its either.

                        Misbleed coolant system
Bad Fan CLutch... which would be fine on highway
                        Bad thermostat
                        Needs more coolant in system
                        Clogged sytem.

Wait shit. I just remembered he said he thinks it is the water pump.
