    Got it Matt. hahaha

The Gig harbor car looks much better.

And to fix would probably cost the same for both.

I contacted Jparkr and am waiting to hear from him

An engine is much easier to swap than to find a nice body. Hell I would take a clean 84 318 over a beat 325i any day.

Well the eta was a bust. THe p[art where the jack goes was filled with water.

Trunk carpet all wet. Driver door didn't shut right. Clutch was hard to push in, atleast to me.

Hmm interior leather was okay, carpet had lots of burns.

BUT the oil looked fine. Hahaha

Well the drain for the jack area could of been plugged up by something. The trunk could of just been wet with condensation which is a problem most E30s have. This is the E30 that has the no spark problem right?

i think most the people on here wouldn't own e30's if they ruled out ones with puddles in the trunk

Both my e30 had water in the trunk, my 86 was flooded, 91 was a much smaller puddle, pretty common thats for sure

Replacing the trunk gasket works wonders. But condensation is common for us especially in the N.W. I would investigate why that car isn't getting any spark. Could be something minor.

No this was WET. Like the tool kit was missing, and the foam where it goes was well so wet I could touch it and water would just come right out.

It wasn't a good car. Just nice paint

                          Ill keep this in mind.

And water comes from the tail gaskets being bad, or the trunk seal correct?

                            both.

condensation makes the foam around the trunk kit sopping wet usually. this is a common problem unless its warm weather all the time. also tail lights full of water.

Also, half the time the trunk seal (body side) just has to be cleaned out of pine needles and other "things" that get stuck around there.
                              Need a part? PM me.

Well I pulled the tan plastic covers, the were dry. Must have been trunk seal the trunk looked clean no rust.

John Parker told me to check front shock towers, they looked godo but had like silicon feeling sutff on the inside of them painted the same color. Dont know if they all are like that?
